Did you know there are 20 subspecies of deer in North America?

Just imagine how cool your trophy room would look with a buck from each of them on your wall.

You’d be a Grand Champion of the North American Deer Slam or some such!

We discuss what those subspecies are along with getting a primer/refresher on the anatomy of the deer.

We’ll also discuss what these majestic animals can hear and smell.

All important stuff to remember when you’re in the field, and knowing is half the battle!

This Deer Foundations series is intended to be useful for deer hunters of all ages and experience but it will be especially helpful to those that are just starting out.

It will give those new hunters all the basic fundamentals needed to be successful out in the field so we hope you’ll take a listen and let a less experienced hunter know about it.
